Laying the Foundation Stone!
Hello MF People, First I would like to express my delight at seeing so many talented people in this group in such a short period of time. No doubt we are all here for a purpose, vis-a-vis: to be part of the filmmaking process.
History of Manchester Filmjam
Manchester Filmjam was created because of a decade long dream of making films, indeed I've always loved creativity. This group was created because I thought it would be a great way of achieving my dream and more importantly helping others achieve their dreams of being part of the filmic process. So you can imagine how happy I am to see everyone here being part of history.
Why the name Manchester Filmjam?
Well I'd say why not? Manchester is a great place, a place of tolerance, creativity and great history. So Manchester filmjam is a place of Unity of creativity.
What is LAYING THE FOUNDATION STONE?
Manchester filmjam is at infancy and a lot of work and nurturing needs to be done to take make us strong and sure! I have a vision to create a group that will benefit a lot of people from and beyond the walls of Greater Manchester but the job is lofty and I need help. We are not just about making film, we need a modus operandi, we need people to take responsibity for different aspects of this group and most importantly, we need a committee of people who would help shape the future of Manchester FIlmjam.
If you think you are capable and interested in being a part of the committee of this great group then please contact me through zerezoya@yahoo.com. A meeting will be called in the near future, this meeting will deal with the mission, vision, and constitution of Manchester Filmjam.
